The Crux is a blog written by Harry Nelson providing commentary on politics, theology, family, and culture.

Harry Nelson is a father of 8 and husband of 1 who lives in Concord, NC.   Harry’s interest in politics began at the age of 10, when his father worked for Lee Atwater on one of Strom Thurmond’s competitive campaigns for the U.S. Senate in South Carolina.   From that time, Harry has worked on issue advocacy and on behalf of candidates through most election cycles.  More recently, Harry has focused on teaching youth about our political system, and how a Christian worldview impacts their participation and opinion.

Harry is a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church – North Campus in Charlotte, NC.
